Hi, my name is Malika, and I’m the founder and designer behind every one of Tru’s designs. I was born and raised in Bermuda, and I’ve loved beautiful jewelry and eye-catching accessories for years, long before I ever dreamed up Tru’s collections.

The vision for the brand began in 2025, in the years after I lost my mother, Trudy Francine, in 2022. Her passing left me in a period of indescribable pain and emptiness, and it was that pain that pushed me to find new joy, meaning, and purpose. I found it in her memory. Trudy taught all of us how to sparkle. To see beauty, to find strength, and to build a life filled with passion. Sharing that sparkle was the inspiration at the very start of Tru Jewelry, and it still is today.

Every piece I design carries a little of what she gave us. It’s made for you, for when you want to shine in your own light.
